Em artigos anteriores comentámos as limitações da revolução bolivariana, decorrentes das bases pequeno-burguesas do partido dirigente: PSUV. Este suporte e consequente visão politica condenavam necessariamente a revolução bolivariana a manter-se no quadro do reformismo social-democrata, mantendo intocado no essencial o domínio da burguesia – logo, facilitando fenómenos de corrupção, guerra económica, ingerência imperial, etc. – alienando precisamente a classe social mais interessada, decidida e combativa na transformação da revolução democrático-burguesa e independentista da Venezuela numa verdadeira revolução socialista: a classe operária, classe fulcral, classe sine qua non de uma revolução socialista. Sem o empenho e papel proeminente da classe operária, do seu partido de vanguarda – o PCV --, a designação «socialista» da revolução bolivariana era (é) um termo erróneo. O PCV incansavelmente alertou o PSUV para esta situação, conforme relatámos em artigos anteriores. Finalmente, no passado 26 de Fevereiro, o PSUV e o PCV acordaram em apoiar Nicolas Maduro nas eleições presidenciais de 22 de Abril e mais do que isso: assinaram um «Acordo unitário estruturante PSUV-PCV». Este acordo é um grande passo em frente. Enfatiza o papel da classe operária e, entre outras coisas, defende o «estabelecimento de um novo modelo de direcção e gestão múltipla das empresas estatais, sob controlo operário e popular dos processos de produção, administração e distribuição de bens e serviços». We have commented in previous articles on the shortcomings of the Bolivarian revolution, stemming from the petty-bourgeois support of the ruling party: PSUV. Such a support and consequent political vision necessarily condemned the Bolivarian revolution to remain within the framework of social-democratic reformism, keeping the bourgeoisie essentially untouched -- thus facilitating phenomena of corruption, economic war, imperial interference, and so on -- alienating precisely the most interested, determined and combative social class in the transformation of the bourgeois-democratic and independentist revolution of Venezuela into a true socialist revolution: the working class, the pivotal class, the sine qua non class of a socialist revolution. Without the commitment and prominent role of the working class, of its vanguard party -- the PCV -- the "socialist" designation of the Bolivarian revolution was (is) a misnomer. The PCV relentlessly alerted the PSUV to this situation, as we reported in previous articles. Finally, last 26 February, the PSUV and the PCV agreed to support Nicolas Maduro in the presidential elections of April 22 and more than that: they signed a "PSUV-PCV Unitary and Structuring Agreement". This agreement is a big step forward. It emphasizes the role of the working class and, among other things, defends the "establishment of a new model of direction and multiple management of state enterprises under workers' and popular control of the processes of production, administration and distribution of goods and services".
