sobre a guerra económica e sobre os media controlados pela oposição e não
pelo governo -- ao contrário do que se afirma no «Ociente» -- da Venezuela

Uma reportagem
recente da jornalista americana Abby Martin -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUYWrPiUeWY
-- documenta, de forma
actualizada, aspectos que já relatámos. Vale a pena ver. Martin mostra
exactamente aquilo que os media ocidentais não mostram, e que desmonta
completamente a retórica da oposição venezuelana de direita e fascista.
Mostra, também,
que a liderança pequeno burguesa da Venezuela mantem o processo em alta
instabilidade, sob constante ameaça de reversão. Reversão que seria conduzida
de forma cruenta pelas forças da direita fascista.
Acrescentamos
os seguintes comentários que faltam na reportagem de Abby Martin:
-- O manter-se
jornais e televisão dominados pela oposição não é ter «imprensa livre». É ter
imprensa a despejar torrentes de mentiras que contribuem para o caos e
confusão que interessa à oligarquia, manipuladora das consciências, inclusive
de cidadãos que nada ganham em alinhar com a oligarquia, que podem ser ganhos
para o processo de mudanças e só ainda não o foram porque estão confusos.
A entrevista de
Abby Martin mostra que a situação dos media é essencialmente a mesma que já
retratámos no nosso artigo. A situação de há dois anos atrás, o que atesta o
carácter pequeno burguês da liderança venezuelana.
Imprensa livre
é imprensa ao serviço do povo, controlada em bases populares (comités de
jornalistas, de representantes populares de organizações de base, etc.). Tal
exige um estado dos trabalhadores.
-- Na reportagem
de Abby Martin vemos que sectores importantes da economia continuam nas mãos
dos oligarcas monopolistas. Voltamos a ouvir a sabotagem do oligarca Cisneros
dono das Empresas Polar, etc. A situação de há dois anos atrás, o que também atesta
o carácter pequeno burguês da liderança venezuelana.
A guerra
económica só se vence eliminando o poder dos monopólios e socializando a
produção. Isto também exige um estado dos trabalhadores.

serving the people, controlled by grassroots organizations (committees of
journalists, of popular representatives, etc.). This demands a workers’ state.

only be won by eliminating the power of the monopolies and socializing the
