Em Março de 2013
apresentámos uma falsa narrativa do que ocorria na Síria, numa altura em as
principais fontes de informação ao nosso alcance defendiam a tese da
revolução no âmbito da chamada «Primavera Árabe» veiculada por alguns grupos
de «esquerda».
A partir dessa data
fomos ficando cada vez melhor informados por repórteres internacionais que
visitaram a Síria e observaram a situação no local, revelando o que
efectivamente se passava. Tornou-se cada vez mais claro que quaisquer
grupúsculos de esquerda que houvesse na Síria clamando por revolução eram
manipulados pelos terroristas -- que desencadearam o conflito armado -- e
pelos seus mentores imperialistas. A existência dessa pseudo-revolução democrata
serviu de pretexto à intervenção dos imperialistas. O pretexto era ajudar os
«democratas» para o que financiaram contra o governo de Assad os terroristas
da Al-Qaeda, Al-Nusra, ISIS, etc.
Em suma, desde o
princípio, a «revolução» Síria, tal como a da Líbia, foram operações
planeadas nos think-tanks dos
serviços secretos imperialistas. A própria ideia de «Primavera Árabe» está
agora definitivamente desacreditada, tendo-se chegado à conclusão da
falsidade da tese da revolução na maioria se não mesmo em todos os casos da
«Primavera».
O que escrevemos em
2013 sobre a Síria, foi induzido pela única informação que obtivemos na
altura: as mentiras dos imperialistas e as meias-verdades e mesmo informação
errada veiculada de fontes trotskistas.
Deixamos abaixo a
indicação de dois vídeos recentes de interesse sobre a Síria.

We
presented a false narrative of what was happening in Syria in March 2013, at
a time when the main sources of information within our reach endorsed the
thesis of a revolution under the so-called "Arab Spring" conveyed
by some "left" groups.
Since that time we were becoming better and better informed by international reporters who visited Syria and observed the situation on the spot, revealing what was actually happening. It became increasingly clear that any small left-wing groups in Syria clamoring for revolution were manipulated by the terrorists -- who unleashed the armed conflict -- and by their imperialist mentors. The existence of this democratic pseudo-revolution served as a pretext for the intervention of the imperialists. The pretext was to aid the "democrats" and with that goal they financed the terrorists of Al-Qaeda, Al-Nusra, ISIS, etc., against the government of Assad. In short, from the outset, the Syrian “revolution”, like that of Libya, were operations planned by think tanks of the imperialist secret services. The very idea of “Arab Spring” is now definitively discredited, and the falsity of the thesis of revolution in most if not in all cases of the “Spring” has been concluded. What we wrote in 2013 about Syria was induced by the only information we got at the time: the lies of the imperialists and the half-truths and even misinformation conveyed from Trotskyist sources.
